Can you believe she is 18 months. Its AMAZING how she has grown into a beautiful and very happy toddler. She is saying so many words, my favorite is buhhhh (bus to you and me) and her favorite daddy! She loves to make animal sounds and can be a lion, pig and cow. She also signs hat, more, eat, all done, milk and please. She is really into puzzles, blocks and books.
She started in the toddler rooms at school two weeks ago and she loves it. All her new friends say HI to her every morning when I drop her off, it's so CUTE.

What an amazing summer! Madison had allot of firsts but definitely not lasts. We started our summer by going to the Minnesota Zoo on Memorial weekend and decided this will definitely be one of Madison's favorite places. Madison's favorite exhibit was the aquarium, she loved all the fish. Mark and Madison are pictured below enjoying the zoo together!
We spent tons of time at the park. We are just a hop, skip and a jump from a great little park that is just perfect for her. Our first swing (see below) was a bit overwhelming and did not last long . . . . .
but by the end of the summer she had graduated to the big jungle gym and even can cross the bridge all by herself!
Madison had some scary moments as she attempted new things. She was not to sure of grass, sand, dirt, leaves or plants,princess did not want to get dirty! Just a speck of dirt on her hands would cause a meltdown and her hands would go up waiting to be wiped. She has now learned to love the outdoors and most of the time has a meltdown when she has to come in.
It would not be summer without a pool or a parade, so we did both! Madison played in her frog pool and went to the Edina 4th of July parade, they both were a hit!
Madison loved her first St. Paul Saints game, she got to meet Muddonna, eat cotton candy and stare at lots of goofy people! Oh, by the way, the Saints won....it was almost a shut out.
Kita and Buster are finally warming up, Kita plays horsey and gets lots of hugs and Buster plays clean up (lots of gooey licks).

We ended our summer like all the other Minnesotans (I guess it's official now) by going to the Minnesota State Fair (it is a very very very big deal here), where we played with the animals , rode the teacups and slide, and drank lots of chocolate milk!
We hope your summer was as fun as ours, the fall is here and soon we will be picking apples and raking leaves and waiting for the Great Pumpkin to arrive.
